We’re building the future of learning, out loud.

➡️ With our alpha launch less than a week away, we knew that our website needed a AI-Native Shadow-based learning refresh. We are so thrilled with the outcome and how it represents our business as we build the future of learning and careers in an AI-first world. Check it out and reply with any feedback!

➡️ Get ready to Cast your Shadow! We cannot wait to see many of you on our platform next Monday, May 5th for our alpha launch. You can still join the waitlist for the alpha or indicate interest in the open Beta in mid-June. We’re looking for one more team (of 3+ remote team members) to join the alpha and get free membership for 2025.

How People are Really Using GenAI in 2025

From work to self actualization, this Harvard Business Review article shows the shifts in how LLMs are being used daily. There is also a growing feeling that if you’re not using GenAI for learning, then you will be left behind in your career. We could not agree more. This is a must read if you’re building, working, or living in 2025 (I guess that’s all of us 😉).

🗯️Quotable Bit:

Tech is Turning Its back on GenZ

The tech industry is closing doors for Gen Z with fewer training opportunities and entry-level positions, while AI threatens to automate tasks traditionally given to new graduates. Silicon Society CEO Frank Fusco believes the timing is particularly unfortunate for young job seekers entering a workforce in transition, as companies hesitate amid economic uncertainty and the AI revolution. But all hope is not lost.

🗯️Quotable Bit: “”New grads are entering an environment where they are going to have to wait for the downstream implications to emerge" from the AI revolution, says Frank Fusco, the CEO of Silicon Society, a company focused on educating workers through job shadowing. He believes some roles will be destroyed or consolidated but new ones will emerge from AI — ones we can't yet envision or predict.”

Humanoid robots are stepping onto film sets, and Atlas is leading the way

In this week’s edition of how humans will be augmented with technology, check out this video on the intersection of robots, AI, and VR in film. Whether managing bulky equipment, capturing film in dangerous locations, or doing small repeatable movements more times than the human body will allow, this use case is compelling if not totally realized yet.

🗯️Quotable Bit: “The ability of Atlas to hold heavy equipment, move with stability, and repeat complex shots with precision could have significant implications for virtual production and especially location shooting.”
