How Custom GPTs Can Make You a Better Manager
This tech-optimistic approach to Custom GPTs is as refreshing as it is practical. Hear from the Head of Core Product at Whoop about how she creates her own Manger GPTs to scale her impact, save time, and provide consistency for her team.
🗯️Quotable Bit: “I like to say with writing and AI, I want it to start with me and I want it to end with me but what happens in between is between me and the robot.”
Netflix Uses AI Effects for the First Time to Cut Costs
The first fully AI-created special effects scene just hit Netflix and it’s got people talking. The process was cheaper and faster, and the output was arguably just as high-quality. Keep 👀 on this space.
🗯️Quotable Bit: “‘It feels like a matter of time. AI definitely opens the gate to allow smaller studios to achieve big budget-looking visuals," said Mr Yoon. "Ultimately, it is the artist who decides what is in the final image, not AI.’"

DeepMind and OpenAI Achieve IMO Gold. What Does it all Mean?
Both OpenAI and DeepMind just dropped AI systems that scored gold medals at the International Mathematical Olympiad, tying for 27th place among the world's most gifted high school math students - but neither company is revealing how they actually work, and researchers just showed similar results might be possible with clever prompting of existing models. TLDR- we're still figuring out if this is a revolutionary breakthrough or just really sophisticated prompt engineering.
🗯️Quotable Bit: “OpenAI’s Sebastian Bubeck, for example, tweeted, “It may end up looking like a moon-landing moment for AI.” That’s simply preposterous. Being part of a 45-way tie for 27th place in a math contest for elite high school students is really not the kind of historic event that the moon landing was.”
